HOW TRACY WORKS WITH CORPORATE
I WORK WITH CORPORATES TO HELP THEIR SMALL BUSINESS CLIENTS OVERCOME TECHNOPHOBIA, LEVERAGE TECHNOLOGY AND IMPROVE THEIR BUSINESS.
HOW TRACY CAN WORK WITH CORPORATES
There are 582 million entrepreneurs globally and 60% of people who start a small business are aged between 40 and 60.
Unlike younger generations, small business owners in the 40–60 year age group did not grow up with any kind of technology. Every process was manual and marketing a business was based on word of mouth or traditional media. As a result, many people in this group feel the digital revolution has passed them by, leaving them completely overwhelmed and lost.
During the COVID pandemic, an NBN Co survey discovered that close to half (49%) of Australians had increased their online shopping habits and 70% were seeking out local small business operators to support. But more than ⅔ of the respondents said that a lack of digital presence by local small businesses was preventing them from supporting business owners.
Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman Kate Carnell was quoted as saying “Digitisation is now essential for a small business to be truly competitive”. Ms Carnell went on to identify the most common roadblocks for Australian small business owners to digitise their business are not knowing where to start and a fear of technology.
Corporations and Government Departments everywhere need to seriously consider how they can engage and educate their small business client base to bridge this digital divide.
That’s where I come in. I help small business owners overcome their fear of technology and I provide practical, no jargon solutions they can implement immediately.
I do this in a variety of ways including training and coaching. Want to know more? Read on…

THE END OF TECHNOPHOBIA: KEYNOTE
According to the McKinsey global study of executives in 2020, “companies have accelerated the digitization of their customer and supply-chain interactions and of their internal operations by three to four years. And the share of digital or digitally enabled products in their portfolios has accelerated by a shocking seven years.”
What does this mean for the hundreds of thousands of Australian small business owners who have delayed or ignored these digital opportunities?
How do we tackle the crippling fear of technology that Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman Kate Carnell says is at the heart of the problem?
What can we do to increase digital literacy and unlock the $49 billion of private sector output identified by PriceWaterhouseCooper (PwC)? This thought-provoking keynote shines a light on the true gaps in the technophobic business owner’s knowledge bank, giving the audience clear and concise steps to close the digital divide.
